Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation Costumes for Kids 5K 2019
Halloween came early in Prescott this year with Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation’s 5th annual Costumes for Kids 5K Fun Run. The event takes place yearly on the weekend before Halloween and participation is growing. In 2018 there were approximately 50 runners and this year there were over 160! There was a 5k run that made its way through historic downtown Prescott and a four-lap fun run around the courthouse. For those that didn’t want to run or walk, there was fun for all ages! Music was provided by Magic 99.1 and there were games and prizes provided by vendors. Snacks and drinks were provided, free of charge and prizes were awarded for best individual boy & girls costume, best individual adult male & female costume and best team costume! It was a lot of fun for everyone. Start planning for next years event as you won’t want to miss this!
