Valentine’s Day at Turf Paradise

Super Saturday is February 11, 2016 at Turf Paradise, where both families and couples can spend a day at the races as part of their Valentine’s Day celebration. There will be a full card of live horse racing and premiere stakes races. For couples looking for a Valentine’s outing, Turf Paradise has tables available at the Turf Club and Clubhouse. Admission is $5 per person. Reserved table seating is $5 per person. Super Saturday features free tee shirt with paid $3 Grandstand admission (while supplies last). Kids 16 and under get free general admission. Live music; Kids Fun Park; $3 bottled beer. Super Saturday also includes stakes races: The $75,000 Phoenix Gold Cup, The $35,000 Turf Paradise Handicap and The $35,000 Sun City Handicap.

Oh So Lovely Galentine’s Day in Glendale

On Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Historic Downtown Glendale will be the place to bring your gals for a fun day of activities to celebrate friendship. Participating merchants will celebrate this love between women, and, in partnership with the Glendale Convention & Visitors Bureau, they are planning a perfect day for you and your best friends to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
