Roka Akor’s Thanksgiving with a Twist

Get a new take on Thanksgiving dinner

Did you know that turkey was not eaten at the first Thanksgiving?  Dishes like eel, oyster, venison, ducks, and geese were the main courses.  In the spirit of a different Thanksgiving dinner, Roka Akor will be serving Thanksgiving dinner from its Robata cuisine.  Robatayaki is a fire-side cooking style that hails from Japan, and this restaurant will be utilizing traditions passed down from Japanese fishing villages.  Tyson Tellez, executive chef from Roka Akor, joins Holly Morgan with more information.
