Get to know the Yavapai Humane Society
The Yavapai Humane Society has many services and is making an impact in the community for both people and animals. Since 1972 they have been taking in strays and surrendered animals and working to find them forever homes. Last year they adopted out over 2000 animals. They have a lost and found program that reunites many lost animals with their owners. There is an equine center as well as a thrift shop. Safety Net is a program for those with domestic of medical issues that prevent a family from taking care of their animals. Through Safety Net, the Yavapai Humane Society will take that animal in and care for them for up to 30 days.
