Making the Call
“Should I call the doc?” It’s a question many parents, grandparents and caretakers wrestle with when children get sick. On one hand, you hate to be the one freaking out all the time over every little bump in the road, but on the other hand, you also don’t want to be the one who didn’t make the right call if that fever, cough or dehydration turns into a much bigger problem.

National Hispanic Heritage Month
Kathy Cano-Murillo, her husband, Patrick and their friend, Emily Costello had a dream to open up a pop-up shop to celebrate Mexican American art. Social media enabled Kathy to turn this into a business that she hopes to run forever. The trio opened Mucho Mas Art Studio in 2017 to create a space that would inspire others in the Phoenix community. Today, the business is housed in a collaborative small business market with three other non-competing small businesses in Phoenix. Through the studio’s Facebook page, Kathy, Patrick, and Emily offer workshops and sell their own handmade art pieces.
